Family and Consumer Sciences
Mission
The Deer Park Schools Family and Consumer Sciences Department strives to provide all students with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in their family, personal, school, and work lives. Our programs are relevant, active, caring, and diverse; equipping students with lifelong skills.
Students will learn how to make independent, responsible choices in maintaining healthy relationships, budgeting, nutritional plannng, creating healthy meals, career exploration, and clarifying values.
